Summary[]
Lucius takes Jimmy and Beezy on a tour through the Chamber of Misery, though rather than awe and fear the boys react to the exhibits with jokes and mockery. One display in particular, the Hooded Chicken, causes the duo to make jokes about if you can't see a body part on someone then they probably don't have it. They keep it up even after they get booted out of the museum, however when they joke that Heloise doesn't have feet they realize they've never actually seen hers. The two make a bet on who can get a photo of her feet first, winner gets bragging rights.
The boys try various schemes to trick Heloise, Beezy's first attempt gets him kicked out of Heloise's place wearing a dress (but he gets a sandwich) while Jimmy takes her to the beach and nudges her into changing into a bathing suit. However, she brought her mermaid suit so it fails too. Heloise continues to see through the boys continued attempts to see her feet and runs into Lucius, who is upset that they have no appreciation for misery. An evil idea forms and the two team up to get back at Jimmy and Beezy.
The boys head to Heloise's house, Jimmy wants to just ask her since their tricks are only going to keep getting her mad. The duo peek in the window and spy Heloise with chicken legs, and realize that she's the hooded chicken (and Beezy insisted he saw the signs all along). They go to Lucius who tells them more about the hooden chicken, like that the chicken eats its victims in spaghetti and leaves a feather on the door before it strikes. When they get back to their houses Jimmy and Beezy find a feather on each of their doors. Jimmy nervously starts to ask Heloise if she would actually eat them when she offers them spaghetti. The two run away in fear of her chicken-y horrors and hide in the Chamber of Misery. The unmask the chicken on display and find its Heloise! With even Lucius seemingly a spaghetti-covered victim, the boys beg Heloise not to eat them. At the height of their fear, Lucius takes a photo of them, putting it on display while Heloise reveals it was all a trick to get back at them. The boys ask if they can see what Heloise's feet really look like but she denies it, however as she walks away she leaves behind a variety of different footprints.
