Plot[]
While throwing spiky creatures at each other, Jimmy accidentally breaks one of Beezy's horns. The Heinous is thrilled to have a broken horn since it means a visit from the Great Horn Fairy. He leaves the broken horn under his pillow and wakes up with a boulder of gold in its place. After they spend the gold on ice cream, Beezy fakes having broken his horn again, whispering to Jimmy that it's a trick his dad taught him. Beezy tries to get Jimmy to try the horn trick too, revealing that everyone does it (including Heloise who wears a horned helmet). Against his better judgement, Jimmy caves and fakes a horn injury. That night when the Horn Fairy arrives with his gold, Jimmy feels guilty and admits to tricking her. The Fairy is not pleased and sentences Jimmy to a trial in the fairy court!
The judge and other Horn Fairies are already certain he is guilty of horn forgery, but go through the trial for the appearance of being fair. To avoid the surprisingly painful punishment of the fairies, Jimmy defends himself to clear his name. He calls Beezy J. Heinous as his first witness, although before interrogating him about the horns, Jimmy gets on him about what the 'J' in his name stands for (he admits its Jojo). He doesn't get Beezy to admit he talked him into tricking the fairy and calls up his next witness; Lucius Heinous VII. The fairies are fond of Lucius, though they grow suspicious of him when Jimmy brings up just how many times they've visited him despite having only two horns. Feeling confident that he will win, Jimmy calls Heloise up to the stand. His question doesn't make much sense and he gets frustrated about how he's guilty when everybody else also does it, including Heloise! The girl terrifies the court and they give her with a boulder of gold and tell her she can go.
For his final witness, Jimmy interrogates himself! Going back and forth, Jimmy forces Jimmy to admit his crimes with a tearful confession. The jury only need a second to declare him guilty and Jimmy is sentenced to... never wear horns again. Pretending to be devastated by his sentence, Jimmy leaves the court and he and Beezy go back to what they were doing in the beginning of the episode. Beezy breaks a toenail and tries to tell Jimmy about the Great Toenail Goblin, but the boy refuses to go through the ordeal again.
