Plot[]
One morning, Beezy tricks Jimmy into sweeping his house under the pretense of it being a ride, and even when he realizes the deception he's still excited to clean. One of the things Jimmy cleans is a massive wad of chewed gum, which is blown into a giant bubble and floats off to parts unknown. When Beezy comes by to check on Jimmy's progress, he goes to add a new piece of gum to his prized gum collection, which he can't find anywhere. Beezy is heartbroken by the loss of his collection and blames Jimmy, saying that they can't be friends if he doesn't get the gum back. Jimmy is saddened while Heloise celebrates no more Beezy and tries to trap Jimmy into watching her favorite movie (Giant Lizard Scares Old Lady). Before Jimmy sits down he looks over and sees the Weavils with Beezy's gum and goes after them.
Chief Weavil initially denies having the gum, although the evidence is literally covering his house. He won't return the gum unless Jimmy gets him the action figure 'My Little Gremlin Astronaut' which Lucius hordes. Sneaking into Lucius' collection room, Jimmy asks to have one of the dolls to give to the Weavils and the Heinous instantly denies him. Jimmy keeps pressing and Lucius admits that Jez won't go to the Misery Ball with him, if he gets Jez to agree to go with him he can have a doll (the ugliest one!) Beezy's search for a new best friend isn't working out to well meanwhile, as Jimmy passes him and the Awe Guy on his way to meet Jez who will go with Lucius is Jimmy can get her a diamond from the top of Mount Misery.
Heloise initially refuses to help Jimmy in his quest to win Beezy back, but the Heinous targets her for his next potential new best friend and she runs to help. The diamond Jez wants is not only enormous, but chained to the mountain. The Schwartzentiger has the key and sets off a long chain of deals one after another to get something for someone else. The chain ends where it started with Beezy, who begrudgingly gives Jimmy some of his mustard to finish the deal train. Jimmy recollects the gum and flies over with it back to Beezy (who is with Heloise watching the sequel to her favorite movie, Old Lady Scares Giant Lizard). The Astronaut Gremlin flies into the bubblegum bubble and punctures it, covering the town in gum and repairing the boys friendship.
