Heads Will Roll |
Everyone Can Whistle is the 9th episode of jimmy twoshoes (season 2). It is Paired With Heads Will Roll. It is also The first appearance of Peep.
Plot[]
Jimmy awakes one morning to the sound of whistling, and is enchanted by what whistling can do in Miseryville. However, Jimmy finds that he himself cannot whistle and is mocked by a crowd. Upset, Jimmy goes to Heloise so he can learn to whistle, but has second thoughts upon learning that her main method is having a swarm of insects sting his lips.
In town, Jimmy happens upon Peep, a con artist pickpocket who convinces Jimmy he can teach him through a musical number (during which he swipes various items from the townsfolk). Heloise sarcastically claps at the song and reminds Jimmy that she was going to teach him to whistle. Peep falls for Heloise at first sight, but she returns his affections with a swarm of insects that attack him.
At Jimmy's house, Peep has collected a pile of Jimmy's possessions by telling him that getting rid of his stuff will help him concentrate on whistling. He convinces Two Shoes that he has to 'Think Whistle' before he can really whistle. Heloise isn't fooled by Peep, and questions Jimmy on why he believes him, and leaves when she can't get Jimmy to see what a phony he is. Think Whistling is obviously not working, but Jimmy and Beezy continue to have faith in their new friend.
That night, Peep is talking to his father, Rudolpho, over a campfire. Rudolpho is outraged that Peep only got 'Practically' everything that Jimmy owned and demands he go back and get the rest. Heloise is watching from the bushes and discovers what they are up to and goes to tell Jimmy. The following day, Peep arrives with his 'mom' (who is just Rudolpho in a dress), to get the rest of Jimmy's stuff. The boy thanks him and says the think whistling worked! Peep is shocked as Jimmy demonstrates a high pitched screeching noise that summons a group of Schwartzentigers who are angered by the noise. Jimmy points them to Peep, telling them he taught him everything he knows, which Beezy and Heloise back him up on. Confronted by the Schwartzentigers, Heloise gets Peep and Rudolpho to give Jimmy all his stuff back. The two oblige and Peep throws in his golden tooth as well. It turns out that Heloise had informed Jimmy of Peep's true nature and the two of them plotted to outsmart him. Jimmy inserts the golden tooth in his mouth and he can suddenly whistle for real! A reprise of the musical number form earlier closes out the episode as Peep goes back to stealing everyones stuff and promises to steal Heloise's heart next time.
Trivia[]
- Peep does indeed return in the later episode Heloise's Secret Admirer to try and win over Heloise.
